According to reports in Italy, English Premier League side, Everton FC are reportedly weighing up a bid to sign Super Eagles and Lazio midfielder Ogenyi Onazi.
Super Eagles stars like the current assistant coach of the Super Eagles, Daniel Amokachi, Joseph Yobo and Victor Anichebe have featured for the Toffees in the past.
Onazi who has an £8million price tag on him is a regular in Nigeria's senior National team. The vey quick and powerful midfilder has won 18 caps for Nigeria and he was part of the squad that took Africa by storm, lifting the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in 2013 hosted by South Africa.
Everton manager Roberto Martinez who once
managed Super Eagles winger, Victor Moses at Crystal Palace and Wigan Athletic is keen on strengthening his squad this month as he looks to guide the Toffees to a Champions League finish at the end of the campaign. The Spaniard has already brought-in Aiden McGeady to Goodison Park while striker Lacina Traore is also believed to be on his way to Merseyside and Martinez is now said to be keen on further bolstering his ranks by luring Super Eagles power midfilder, Onazi to the club.
Ogenyi Onazi,21, who had earlier expressed his desire to play in the premiership might consider a move to Goodison Park.
So far Onazi has been an integral part of the Lazio side this term, having made 17 appearances for the Capital club but since the appointment of Eddy Reja as manager of the Roman side early January, Onazi has made only one start so far.
