Kano Pillars FC Set Up Committee For CAF Champions League

As part of it preparations to face the challenges ahead of this year's CAF Championship kano pillars fc has constituted a Seven man special committee that would over see the club activities during the championship.

The committee has the board chairman Abba Yola as its chairman, Alhaji Uba Danzainab, Sharu Rabi'u Inuwa Ahlan, Prof. Rabi'u Muhammad, Shehu Abdullahi and Abba Galadima as members while Secretary of the club Zakari Akilu Bichi will save as Secretary of the committee.

Also the board has set up 3 sub - committees that would facilitates other responsibilities during the club Caf engagement.

The sub - committees are Accormmodation to be headed by Sharu Rabi'u Inuwa Ahlan,Facilities,medical and security committee to be headed by Prof. Rabi'u Muhammad and the protocol, transport and public relation committee to be headed by Alhaji Uba Danzainab while Alhaji Abba Yola and Shehu Adamu would act as general coordinators.

Inuagurating the committees yesterday at the board meeting in the club secretariat in kano the chairman of the board Alhaji Abba Yola said the committtes was set up to come out with modalities and strategies that would assist the club to do well in the championship considering the time constraint ahead of them.

He charged the committees members to work hard and carried everybody alone for the success of their assignment and assured them the board support and cooperation at all times.

During the meeting the board directed the chief coach of the club Abdullahi Maikaba to continue handling the team pending the appointment of new technical Adviser.

The board then congratulate Pillars FC fans club chairman Alhaji Bashir Ma'azu Idris for electing him as the National president of the twenty teams Nigeria Premier League fans club and hope he would do better.

Also the board has sent a condolence message to the family of former club chaiman Alhaji Sani Muhammad Usman who died last friday and prayed to Almigthy to grant his soul eternal rest and Jannatul Firdausi.
