Kano State government have assured the new partners of Kano Pillars of its commitment to honor and implement the agreement under the memorandum of understanding recently signed in Dubai between Kano Pillars FC and G-Sport.
According to a release signed by Hon Umar Farouk Jibril, the signing of the MoU with G-Sport is part of effort to reduce and ultimately removing the financial burden of running the club by the government which is also good for the club and its management. The MoU, which covers a period of five years, has the support, blessing and endorsement of the state government led by Governor Rabi'u Musa KwankwasoAlready, the first phase of the MoU with G-Sport has been completed by endorsing an Italian firm, Kappa sports wear as the official sports company that will kit Kano Pillars FC with products worth one million US dollars over a period of five year starting from 2014/2015 football season.
It would be be recalled that the chairman of Kano Pillars FC, Alhaji Abba Yola led a team to sign the MoU with G-Sport in Dubai, UAE late last year.
G-Sport will manage all kind of sponsorship, media marketing, merchandising, hospitality and retail alliance.
