  • GLO-CAF Award : It's Yaya Toure Again

    Ivorian and Manchester City Midfielder, Yaya Toure has been named GLO-CAF African footballer of the year #2013 for the third time in a row. The Ivorian whose team lost to Nigeria at the quarter final stage of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations beat Nigeria's John Obi Mikel and
    Team mate  Drogba.

    How ever Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi got the coach of the year while Nigeria's Golden Eaglet won the Youth National Team of the Year. Kelechi Iheanacho  picked the most promising talent
    award.

    The Super Eagles who are the current African champion were named the National team of the year while Vincent Enyeama, John Obi Mikel and Emmanuel Emenike were listed in the "Africa's Finest 11" (Enyeama, Fathy, Mehdi, Mikel, Yaya, Pitriopa, Emenike, Aubameyang, Gyang-Coach: Keshi)
