NPFL 2013/2014 Season: Giwa FC Host Kano Pillars.

Nigeria Professional Football League(NPFL) defending champions, Kano Pillars will start the 2013/2014 season away at newly promoted side Giwa FC of Jos.

Kano Pillars started the previous season away at Bauchi as the defending champions with an away win (0:1) against Wikki Tourist who will now feature in the lower league next season. It will be a big test for Giwa FC who are featuring in the top flight league for the very first time.

Nembe City who also picked an away win (1:2) in their first NPFL league match against Heartland of Owerri will also start this season away at Enugu against Enugu Rangers.
