Oyo State Commissioner of Sport Hail Crown FC

The Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports development Alh. Faruq Umar Alao on Friday 24th of January, 2014 paid a working visit to the Camp of Crown FC at the on-going pre-season tour at Ijebu-Odee,he was accompanied by other top political personalities in the State among whom is Hon.Godwin Obode John (Goddons) and senior civil servants in the ministry of Youth and sports.

Faruq charged the Ajilete Soccer Elites as a team to weather all storms to maintain the premier status and even fight to

book a place in the continent,that the Oyo State under the able leadership of Gov.Abiola Ajimobi will do everything humanly possible to support the team more than ever before,stated that the Ogbomoso Stadium will receive a big boost that any time from now work will commence on the facility,Faruq whose address was intermittently interrupted with great applause said his era would witness unprecedented development and success in the club,he promised to always work hand-in-hand with the team.

Alao equally used the occassion to hail the recent victory of the club at the maiden edition of the Governor Abiola Ajimobi pre-season Tournament where the club emerged champion. In his reaction the Technical Adviser of the Club Lawrence Akpokona assured the number one Youth in the State that his side would further bring honour to the state beginning from the next football session having got full back up from the Commissioner.

The secretary of the Club Folake Fashona at the forum commended the commissioner for his rare display of commitment to the development of the team since he came on board that his exemplary leadership style since arrival is a source of strength to all and sundry,she therefore promised on behalf of the team that an impressive results shall be posted at the end of the league to the glory of the State.

Bode Daniel who emerged the highest scorer at the tournament gave thanks to the commissioner for the gift he gave the team during the visit
