    Super Eagles Player Rating Against Morocco.

    CHAN debutants, Nigeria and Morocco gave Africa an interesting game when the Super Eagles and the Atlas Lions met at the CHAN 2014 quarter final.

    While the Moroccans were celebrating their 3:0 first half lead, Nigerians were shocked with a few of them still believing that the Super Eagles will display the power of Naija in the second half. The final result threw a wild jubilation amongst fans in Nigeria as the Super Eagles won by 4:3.

    Below is how we rate the Nigerian team;


    Chigozie Agbim -> 6
    The Super Eagles captain seem to have gathered more confidence after a not too good showing at the start of the tournament. He made a some saves especially in the second half that helped the team.

    Erhun Obanor ->8
    He got the job done and he was very effective.

    Azubuike Egwuekwe ->7
    Though his pace was questionable but his presence at the back line showed his impact and confidence.


    Bright Esieme ->8
    The flexible defender has played in different roles in this tournament and gave a good account of himself. Against Morocco, he started the match a bit sluggishly in his usual role at the right back but picked up as the game went on.

    Kunle Odunlami -> 7
    His recovery rate was on point, timing tackles and confidence helped the team with a more improved display in the second half

    Shehu Abdullahi->7
    Good display, his performance is commendable.

    Rabiu Ali ->9
    His goal gave the team more confidence.

    Ugonna Uzochukwu->8
    His pace stands him out, that goal in the second half help the team grow in confidence.

    Barnabas Imenger -> 7
    Came in from the bench, his positioning and drive to score is interesting

    Ejike Uzoenyi ->9.5
    His 90th minute super goal ensured that the match went into extra time. His pace, goal sense motivates the team.

    Gbolahan Salami-> 4.5
    High work rate but low delivery

    Ifeanyi Ede ->5
    Commendable work rate, didn't step up to his responsibility as the goal poacher of the team but the opponent back line felt his continuous knocks.

    Aliyu Ibrahim ->6
    His goal in the extra time gave Nigeria the semi final ticket.

    Umar Zango->6
    Didn't get more time in the game but the job he did in the back line  to hold on showed.
