Footyalert: Good morning and how was your night?

    Ojo: My night was good.

Footyalert: Let's go back to your last game against Enugu Rangers where your team lost. How did you guys take the defeat?

Ojo:  Yes we accepted it because it's a game of football as you know already it's a the e way thing, it's either you lose, win or you draw so whichever one that comes our way we just have to accept it.

Footyalert: In that game your team had a penalty which your striker Dele Olorundare missed or rather your opposite number saved. Do you think that if the penalty had gone in maybe the game would have swung in your favour?

Ojo: You are right because if you observe, it wasn't his intention and I believe he ( Dele Olorundare) is also not happy too but that is in the past. It can happen to anybody.

Footyalert: Sunshine Stars started the season poorly and the team decided to part ways with your former manager and brought in Solomon Ogbeide, what has he done that has transformed the team to a potential continental seekers?

Ojo: Well you know I didn't start the season with them I joined them months ago and with the little things I have seen he (Solomon Ogbeide) is a wonderful man and his fatherly role in the team is amazing, he picks his players based on merit and I think that is what has been helping him and with the  commitment and assistance of the chairman of the club we were able to turn it around.

Fooryalert: Now as you said earlier you didn't start the season with the club, the former first choice goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa who left for FC Ifeanyi Ubah- how have been able to fit in because he (Ezenwa) is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the NPFL has the pressure been much ?

Ojo: I didn't meet him but I believe everything is God's grace and not by my own power so i am giving the credit back to God and my fellow goalkeepers who have also supported me because without them I don't think I will be able to do anything so God has been keeping me.

Footyalert: it's just two games to the end of the season some teams have three but you have two, is there any sense of holiday mode amongst the players?

Ojo: It's not over yet till the league is over before anybody can think of holiday as for the holiday i am not an indigene of the state so when the season ends I will go and see my family and get ready for next season.

Footyalert: Before I let you go what do you intend to achieve next season?

Ojo: In every player's career we want to progress, it's quite unfortunate that we are not competing for the title but we are trying our best to fight for a continental ticket this season. So talking about next season lets leave it to God, let him handle it and decide what will happen

Footyalert: Anyway thank you for your time?
    Ojo: you are welcome.

Footyalert: And Goodluck in your remaining two games?
Ojo: God bless you bye- bye.
