Sunshine Stars midfielder, Samson Adedipe has gotten over his team's
2-0 loss to Enugu Rangers on NPFL match day 36.
Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) fixture played at the Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium, Enugu - 'The Cathedral' saw the Owena Waves fell to a Bobby Clement's brace.
The midfielder, Adedipe noted that his team went into the match with high expectations of returning to Akure with the maximum point or at the least a point as that may enable his team achieve its target of securing a continental ticket.
The former ball boy at the Akure township stadium has however refused to be perturbed by the loss, he
believes it hasn't dim their target of securing continental
football for the teeming Akure fans.
"After the loss to Enugu Rangers over the weekend, the players had a meeting where we agreed to put in our all and fight so as to grab the six maximum points available in their remaining two fixtures." Adedipe told Footyalert
Adedipe believes obtaining the available six points still leaves a continental ticket within their grabs.
