It has been revealed that English Premier League club, Everton FC have a huge number of fans on social media from Nigeria.
The Toffees have had three former Super Eagles players - Daniel Amokachi, Joseph Yobo and Yakubu Aiyegbeni play at the Goodison Park and perhaps that could have increase the Blues popularity in Nigeria.
According to Liverpoolecho the Blues’ official Twitter account has over 900,000 followers, and figures released have revealed the location of them all.
United Kingdom sit at the top with 32.3% of the account’s followers hailing from Britain but Nigeria comes next with 6.9% while United States of America (6%), India (3.8%) and South Africa (3%) make up the top five.
