    Female Football: Confluence Queens FC Resumes in New Camp

    Lokoja-based Nigeria Women Premier League team, Kogi Confluence Queens Football Club are to resume for the 2014 premier league season on Monday, 6th January, 2014.

    According to the club spokesperson Tosin Ojo, players and officials are expected to officially resume on Monday, 6th January 2014, with club activities expected to commence with immediate effect.


    While expressing gratitude to the governor of the state, Captain Idris Wada, for his supports, the Chairman of the club, Mallam Abdul Adama, says he is satisfied with the level of preparations on ground, and
    also advised the team not to let the state down when the new season kicks-off.

    Governor Idris Wada recently acquired a well furnished, decent and comfortable accommodation as part of motivation to lift the team. Some of the players who have visited the new camp confirmed that it is one
    of the best in the country.

    Kogi Confluence Queens are one of the twelve teams expected to partake the maiden edition of the Nigeria Women Premier League which will takes-off on 15th of February 2014.
