Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr got a dream start with Nigeria courtesy of a super strike by Manchester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho that gave Nigeria a slim victory over Tanzania in Ihenacho'sa 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier on Saturday at the Goodswil Akpabio stadium, Uyo.
Though both countries, Nigeria and Tanzania won't be at Africa's prime tournament, Gabon 2017 but the 1-0 win for Nigeria in the inconsequential match made the Super Eagles finish second behind group G winner, Egypt with five points while Tanzania stayed at the base of the group with a point.
Kelechi Iheanacho's curler from around 25 yards left Tanzania's Aishi Manula in goal no idea of how the ball hit the back of the net with twelve minutes left as Nigeria secured a deserved win.
