The General Manager of Warri Wolves, Moses Etu has expressed confidence that the Seasiders will survive the relegation scare.
Wolves finished second in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) last season but a massive player exit from the club has left the Warri outfit to struggle this season.
Etu admitted that his club has studied the possibilities from its last four matches this term and he is confident that Wolves will survive the relegation scare.
"I'm optimistic that the players will get some extra motivation between now and Friday September 9,2016.
"We are not playing badly, it's just that we have to improve on converting those chances we create. We created series of clear cut chances against FC Ifeanyi Ubah but we lost by a lone goal, we won by a lone goal against Nasarawa United but we had a minimum of thirteen chances but just couldn't burry any.
"Though we do pray that God will be on our side but i am very confident that Warri Wolves won't drown in the relegation zone," Mose Etu told Footyalert.com
"We all have four matches left this season, two matches at home and away from home. So if we all win at home and don't pick points on the road then it will end the way it is right now. We have studied everyone and we know what to expect.
"Heartland FC have a match against El-Kanemi Warriors in Maiduguri and another one in Lokoja against Niger Tornadoes who are also battling to survive the relegation scare. Maiduguri has been a very tough ground for every team that has visited there, El-Kanemi have a fantastic home record.
"MFM FC have a very tough match in their hands, they will host Lobi Stars and FC Ifeanyi Ubah at home and we know both teams are looking to pick a continental slot. FC Ifeanyi Ubah are also targeting the NPFL trophy too sobit won't easy in Lagos. Abia Warriors are fighting off to get pulled down so we are studying activities going down at the base of the table," Etu stated
